GlamFoodie was conceptualised by a sassy, 30-something foodie enthusiast,
who understands the importance of providing a particular service to a niche clientele
won are particular about their cuisine. Charmaine Ramalope, thus decided to host a
bi-quarterly event entitle, “Wine & Dine” at the most affluent venues, in the hopes to
attract aspiring fine dining enthusiasts with a taste for the finer things. This proved
to be a success as she has collaborated with some of SA’s (and the world’s) most respected
chefs, hospitality partners and esteemed winemakers. Not to mention partnering with the
leading food and beverage brands, hotels and restaurants.

Co-created a once-off, special edition burger for the Hellmann’s
#RockYourBurger challenge, with the proceeds going to charity.
Teamed up with SA Official Olympic Chef Blake Anderson to host an
unforgettable GlamFoodie fine dining and cognac paired event.
Developed and created a Heritage-themed pasta dish for Knorr’s #MzansiMyPasta
recipe campaign which was featured in the Sunday Times food supplement.
Recently won the NutriDay #BreakfastPartyChallenge by earning a whooping 20,000 votes,
where she showcase her baking skills alongside nine other local foodies.
